Once again the "TSANTALI" name has come forth with a great wine. Produced with respect to the tradition of good winemaking these fine Greek grapes grown at CHROMITSA near the monastery of St Panteleimon at the holy mountain of "AGION OROS" (MOUNT ATHOS) are a spectacular example of age and tradition. A fine dry white particularly good with poultry and seafood dishes. By far one of the better Greek wines.

As you would expect, named after the Makedonian visionary idealist. A wine by TSANTALI this superb cabernet sauvignon is produced from the Xinomavro grape variety. A bright red wine with violet hue, bursting with pleasant aromas of red fruits, good structure, smooth and fruity on the palate with distinctive hints of gooseberry. A MUST try wine with excellent character.
Makedonikos Rouge (12%) £13.75
Drawing on a 2300 year heritage, this wine has been cultivated using age old traditions of fine wine making. Scented with crushed cranberries and raspberries. A versatile Wine to enjoy every day. Another great "TSANTALI" favourite.

Caliga Rubis (12.5%) £17.95
This wine has a clear, clean purple colour that is revealed to the eye. A hint of black olives, ripe blackcurrant and blackberry are exhibited to the nose. Light to medium bodied, black fruit flavours carry through the whole length of the wine and are bolstered given balance by decent acidity. With a decisive taste a beautiful bottle it will enlighten your table.

An equal mix of Agiorgitiko and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, it has a fine deep ruby red colour, with aromas of forest fruits and cedar. On the palate it is smooth, full-bodied with velvety tannins, opening up to an intense aftertaste of plums and figs. Ageing in oak barrels for 18 months has resulted in a wine of considerable character and finesse, capable of ageing for well . over a decade. Best served roasted red meats and casseroles.
